SNSD’s new tracklist & jacket photo figure revealed!

New information regarding SNSD's repackaged album has been released!

According to a representative from SM Entertainment, the girl in the jacket photo of the repackaged album is no other than SNSD's Yoona! The concept of the jacket photo shows a more darker concept compared to their previous cute and bubbly images.

The repackaged album will be released on the 22nd of March and will include each of the members’ posters.

The new tracks to be included has also been revealed...the first is "Echo" then an acoustic R&B version of Star Star Star and of course "Run Devil Run."

A story version MV of their song "Run Devil Run" will also be released so stay tuned! ^_^

Girls' Generation Releases Oh! MV! + New Album

The wait is almost over as Girls' Generation finally released the music video for their new song entitled Oh! The MV features the girls wearing cute cheerleading outfits and vintage-themed clothing. The song itself is fast becoming a favorite at various online charts despite the rumors of it's similarities with pop/r&b singer Rihanna's song "Shut up and Drive".

I give the girls plus points for coming up with yet another chart topping song!

This is the title track for their second Full Album coming out this 2010. This album is said to show a mature version of SNSD.

Younha's Coming Back with New K-pop Album!

"In April Younha released Part A of her third album, Peace Love & Ice Cream, and now she's closing the year with the second chapter, Part B: Growing Up. The album title is fitting for the popular singer who just turned 21 this year, but is already celebrating her fifth anniversary as a singer. Younha's latest release confirms not only her talents as a singer, but also her great potential as a songwriter.

Younha wrote and composed three of the album's seven songs, and collaborated with composer You Hee Yeol (Toy) as well as ballad king Kim Bum Soo and diva Hwayobi. Younha teams up with You Hee Yeol to create "Go at Ease" (Track 4), and duets with Kim Bum Soo for "Things I Understand After Breakup" (Track 5). Hwayobi penned the emotional lyrics about the pain of parting for Younha's winter piano ballad "Broke Up Today" (Track 2). According to allkpop, Younha's also busy shooting for the MV of her title track 오늘 헤어졌어요 (Today, I Broke Up). The plot for the MV is about a loving couple wherein the woman unfortunately dies, but the man can't ever forget her. (aaaawwww >.<) The MV also shows Younha kissing a guy ^.^

The CD also contains a song that Younha sang for the movie "Girlfriends" entitled 좋아해 (I like You). The MV for the track was released and it briefly shows famous YG girl group 2NE1.

It's been a long time since I've posted anything here, I've been busy with work and a lot of other stuff...but finally I'm back!

Yes! Girls' Generation is definitely back! This time their fulfilling every fans dream with their 2nd mini-album entitled "Genie". SM has released new photos of the girls wearing sailor suits and sporting new hairstyles. The release of their teaser video only heightened my curiosity as to what their new single sounds like. I've already pre-ordered my copy (hehe) so make sure you buy their 2nd mini-album and support SNSD!

Here's a preview of their latest single "Tell Me Your Wish" or "Genie" for short. I'm loving their new and sexy concept. It's a long step away from their "Gee" (cute) style.

I'm really digging 2NE1's cover of Chris Brown's "Say Goodbye" that I heard in a radio program. You couldn't even detect an accent...it's really great and Dara's voice is really improving. All of them we're really great. I've been playing the song on repeat the whole day!

This is definitely a different sound from After School! Its a cover from j-pop's famous girl group Morning Musume. Its a nice song but I'm not entirely sure that it fits After School's image although it is nice to see a bit of versatility in the group's music. Hope you like it!

....well almost that is. My iMac is completely beyond repair (financially). But I got my files back thanks to my new external hard drive :D (Yay me!) So I'll put up some new posts for you guys very soon. I'm currently using my laptop now so I don't think it'll be able to handle a large amount of file uploads but still I'll continue to do my best in bringing you all your k-pop and j-pop needs!

On Hiatus...

Hi everyone! Some of you might be wondering why I haven't updated my blog for some time now...well it's because my computer's logic board crashed and now I don't believe I can have it fixed since I don't have any budget yet since a new logic board for my computer would probably cost me.....hmmmm.....probably about the same price as buying a new and fully upgraded PC (I was using an iMac G5 before). Fortunately all the files (music, photos, etc. are intact) so I'm having it transferred to an external hard drive.

So now I'm typing this entry in my laptop which I think will not be able to handle the thousands of music files I have so I've decided to put things on hold for a while... 'til I can get myself a new comp which I don't think will be a new Mac...I'll settle for a PC since it's cheaper and the parts are easier to come by and not so expensive. Then I'm coming back with a vengeance hehe.

I may post stuff from time to time but it might either be just news or singles...the albums are on hold but I'll try to post some if possible...

I'm really sorry for not being active in the blogging community for a while...but please please continue to support my blog. Thank you!

At first I was a bit reluctant to listen to Younha's latest single 1,2,3 but after listening to it a couple of times it kinda grew on me a bit. It's a catchy song I must admit...but I still prefer her second album.

Fortunately for Younha Korea seems to be liking her song. It has topped the Bugs Music Chart, beating Big Bang & 2NE1's "Lollipop" and it ranked 2nd on the Dosirak Music Chart this time beating Super Junior's "Sorry, Sorry".

I'm really glad that things are starting to look good for Younha sincce her "Password 486" debut. It seems that her comeback this time around is working to her advantage. Hopefully it continues (hehe)... its just as they say "the 3rd time's a charm" and Younha's new image is definitely charming!

Younha comes back with her third Korean album "Part A Peace, Love, & Ice Cream". In this album Younha channels her cute side unlike her previous album wherein she's channeling her boyish side. She's experimenting with new types of music. Her song 1,2,3 may sound like Jackson 5's ABC song and a bit of ABBA...but still it's Younha and I don't care (hehehe) I still love her music no matter what it is!

I've pre-ordered her album way before it was released and am looking forward to listening to the full album. So I suggest you support Younha and buy her album hehehe. GO YOUNHA! P.S. The MV for 1,2,3 is out and I'll be posting it soon!

Okay here's the anticipated debut single of the said "Female Big Bang" and for some reason they named the group "21". The group's members are CL as the leader with the other members being Park Bom, Sandara Park and Gong Min Ji. They decided to call the group 21 since it means that the group will produce music which will always be fresh ( like the age of 21 ) and it also means never lose in the game of blackjack. Their first digital single "lollipop" was released today and singing with them is Big Bang. It is actually the CF song for a cellphone CYON...I think.

Younha goes back to Japan

According to Younha's cyworld blog entry, she's going back to Japan to take part in a movie. The movie is entitled "On This Sunday" wherein she'll be playing the role of a Korean student in Japan named Sora. There is little info about the movie but it is said to be released this Spring in Japan.

Looks like the Oricon Comet is expanding her repertoire to acting as well. But it's not really bad. She's also planning to release a new Japanese album as well within the year.

I do wish her the best of luck in this new endeavour of hers and I'll be waiting for her movie to come out as well.

Utada Hikaru ~ Come Back To Me (single)

Here is Utada's latest single entitled "Come Back To Me". Unlike her previous English tracks I like this one better since it has the same sound as her Japanese songs unlike her "EXODUS" album which sounds so different. I do hope that her sophomore English album will sound better than her first. I really love her songs so I'm wishing her the best of luck!
